This only requires a simple sign-up with an email, username, and password, and can be used across all Borderlands titles for multiplayer. ![]() There you can access “Roster” which allows for finding, managing, and connecting with your SHiFT friends. To play co-op you’ll want to head into the Social tab from the main menu. ![]() That means that regardless of where you or your friends are playing, you can jump in and DnD it up together! In a first for the Borderlands franchise, there is full crossplay across all platforms for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. That stands true with Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, where it is just as easy to set up a “Bunkers and Badasses team” of your own. They weigh 3.3 ounces and even observing real life birds, they don't learn how to fly perfectly until they get some experience.A quintessential part of the Borderlands franchise is the fun that can come from blasting your way through enemies with a group of friends. Most of the damage those smaller races did in their ideal archetypes was from sneak attacks or magic.Īlso, some DMs are nervous about flight, but I just made it so the race must end their movement no more than 10 ft from the ground when outdoors or in places of high winds until 3rd level. I think they excised the weapon size rules from 3.5 because halflings and small races lost most of the bonuses they had prior for being small. I'm probably just going to stick to restricting them to only using light weapons. They were supposed to be antagonists since they needed to steal away children and intelligent people to murder in order to keep awakening new faeries, but the party wizard came up with a way to peacefully awaken new faeries and then someone wanted to play one. Basically, an epic level spell tore the human like races souls apart and with time the bits and pieces came back together, but they were diminished heavily and could only reconstitute as tiny creatures. In case you were wondering, this came about because in an adventure I ran the players ran into a civilization of faeries that were the remnants of an ancient people. Other game worlds they are more like environmental entities that exist similarly to flowers or trees. I find that Ravnica is the most likely place to have tiny adventurers since Pixies and Faeries are commonplace there. ![]() Of course, this doesn't address the issue of finding a plausible reason for a tiny race to exist in a normal game world. Bonus damage from spells, poison, class abilities, and weapon enhancements function as normal.įor the most part I think these rules work since most adventures are designed for medium characters, thus there is little micromanagement involved with DMing. **Tiny Weapons** : Any weapon sized for tiny characters has it's damage dice size reduced to d1. All other limitations of the hide action remain the same. **Hide Action** : Tiny characters have advantage on dexterity(stealth) checks when taking the hide action. This includes effects from spells such as *Gust*. Additionally, if the tiny character can fly, strong winds and rain will prevent flight completely and force any airborne character to the ground. **Movement based Effects** : Tiny characters have disadvantage on strength saves against forced movement and disadvantage on Strength (Athletics) checks when using the shove action. ![]() By default, all items found in the world are considered to be size category medium unless otherwise specified by the DM. Tiny characters are unable to interact with objects designed for size category large or greater. Two handed weapons, armor, backpacks, and other items weighing over a pound that require two hands to manipulate cannot be carried or dragged. **Drag and Carry Limits** : Tiny characters can drag any single one-handed item designed for small to medium characters weighing over 1 pound and can carry any single one-handed item that weighs 1 pound or less. By default, all levers and doors are considered to be designed for medium or larger creatures unless specified by the DM. They can still manipulate them normally through using magic such as mage hand, or if they are enlarged via magic. **Use Object Limitations** : Tiny characters cannot take the Use Object action to manipulate levers and doors designed for medium or larger creatures. So, I'm still debating if tiny player characters are a good idea or not in 5e, but after mulling over the rules and looking at some of the 5e monsters that people often want to play (looking at you pixie and tiny fey), I came up with a few basic rules for dealing with tiny characters. ![]()
